Art Auction & Flea Market to Benefit PAWS/LA
Sunday, November 4th, 2007 - Doors open 4:30

1735 N.Vine St. Hollywood, CA

The Pet Art 9 at the Catspaws that was held on this evening was very successful. Among the artists whose works were auctioned and sold were Andy Warhol, Charles Shultz as well as our Founations, own, Jared Seff.

Jared Seff's contribution was an oil painting entitled "PUPPY" and sold for an unspecified amount to a local patron of the arts.  Mrs. D.B. asked to remain anonymous but indicated that the work in Jared's painting showed..... "a glint in the puppy eyes that reminded her of her own dog who had recently passed and she was moved by the expressive, loving look that this portrait displayed".

The sale of this painting contributed to the mission and development of PAWS/LA (Pets Are Wonderful Support) and each and every dollar earned helps this very worthwhile non profit corporation.

People In The Arts Foundation would like to take a moment to commend the artist Jared Seff, (A Board member of PITA FOUNDATION),  who contributed his art to this very worthwhile cause and knows that the sale of his art benefits animals in need as well as their deserving owners who have life threatening illnesses.

We have been advised that his artwork is always welcome and that his artistic achievements at such an early age will benefit society for generations to come.

What a fine compliment from the Director of PAWS/LA.
